This piece documents my first exploration of the music scene in Anacortes, Washington, via the city’s local record store, The Business. Interview subjects include current owners Nick Rennis and Evie Opp, past owner Bret Lunsford (of Beat Happening) and local musician John Van Deusen (formerly of The Lonely Forest).
